Fascinating Toasters: Shortcut Breakfast Or Over-optimization?

At Alphachooser, we are all for time efficiency and optimization, but the Nostalgia 3 in 1 Breakfast Station leaves us wondering if the whole time-saving concept went a little too far. Just like a restaurant cannot specialize in Italian, French and Japanese cuisine all at the same time, can this omnipotent toaster really excel in all three fields: Egg & bacon cooking, toasting and coffee brewing?

The complexity of coffee brewing alone makes us skeptical-enough that a $60 device could do all three things decently. Yet, the 14 Amazon reviewers who were brave-enough (as of July 2013) to test it are spread almost evenly between enthusiasts and disappointees. Perhaps that breakfast triplet isn't that odd after all.
